I’ll never not be amazed at how great the Disney Plus, Marvel Studios shows are. And not just in terms of similar quality and content, but how varied and introspective each new series is. And Loki is no exception. While being worlds apart from WandaVision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Loki is just as brilliant, working more as an intimate character study into one troubled antagonist of the MCU. And every week Loki delivers on that. We get into more details on how the series expands on Loki’s story on this Loki episode 4 spoiler podcast.
Loki Episode 4 Spoiler Podcast Goes Deep Into The Theories

There are a lot of reveals in Loki episode 4, which invoke a lot of conversations from our Comic Years Podcast team. Emily O’Donnell discusses how the chemistry between Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) and Loki himself (Tom Hiddleston) is palpable, causing her to ship the hell outta them. We discuss how things can evolve from here into whatever the next chapter of the MCU holds for the timeline. Amidst all our theorizing though, Joshua is able to reign it all in, and just enjoy the series for what it is, rather than what it could be.
Lots Of Deep Comic Book Lore In This Episode
This episode, and in particular, the post-credit scene, has a lot of comic book influences and references. Roman Colombo breaks down some of the specific easter eggs, not to mention some surprise characters that show up and blow our minds. We also go at length about the motivations of Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw). We try to figure out if she’s an accidental antagonist or a full-on villain. It’s also surprising to me that the larger mystery ties directly into a very cool Matt Damon movie. And as usual, we end off the show with some crazy theories, but this time around, some could be very credible.
