House of Secrets #115 |
House of Secrets v1 #115, 1974 – A night watchman at a wax museum brings home a statue of Lizzie Borden for company. Alex Nino‘s graphic style is disturbingly appropriate for this twisted tale. Sharp and brittle shapes permeate each panel. These are accompanied by the characters’ often horrific facial expressions. As usual, Nino’s layout designs are a cut above. Other artists in this DC bronze age horror comic include Alfredo Alcala and E. R. Cruz. Cover by Luis Dominguez. This is number 5 of 11 House of Secrets issues with Nino art and/or covers. This issue is also included in this Nino gallery.
